Lnad use and taxation records 1903-1938.

Series documents the research and recommendations of the Planning board concerning the use, classification, and taxation of Oregon lands as well as the management of Oregon and California Railroad revested lands. Records include correspondence, legislation, minutes, publications, black and white photographs, charts, tables, maps, lists, graphs, and reports. Topics include tax reverted lands, tax delinquency, soil and land cover, rural land zoning, range grazing districts, public finance, land use, land classification, the Fort Rock Conservation Area, eastern Oregon public lands, and county owned land problems. Most of the records refer to the period from 1934 to 1938, however, some of the research dates to 1903.
